Floorplans
The 2024 Regency Xalta Touring Class B vans are a special combination of RV and limo-style luxury coaches. Regency offers three distinct floorplans in the Xalta Touring collection, each with a specialized purpose. The Xalta Tour 2.2 is the only Xalta model constructed on the 144” Sprinter chassis. The cab area features two captain’s chairs which can swivel and face the interior of the van when parked. Mounted to the ceiling, and partially isolating the cab from the rest of the coach is your 32” Smart TV, set up to be viewed theater-style by the passengers in the coach. You have two more captain’s chairs next in the middle of the coach, each with ten-way adjustable comfort seating, plus a powered leg rest. Moving towards the rear of the vehicle, you next have two opposing loveseats, both powered, and able to fold out and make a large sleeping area. On the passenger side, above the seating area you have a microwave mounted in the overhead cabinets. Overhead cabinets are also located above the seating areas on the driver’s side, giving you plenty of storage. The sliding door at the rear opens into the executive-style lavatory. The sink is a deep basin design, with matte nickel finishes on the faucets. The countertop is Corian, and there is a mirrored medicine cabinet as well. Under the sink you have a small refrigerator for drinks or snacks as well. The Xalta Tour 4.2 expands onto the Sprinter 170” wheelbase. It essentially maintains the same layout as the 2.2, but adds a second row of captain’s chairs in the middle of the vehicle, giving you a total of 6 captain’s chairs, including the cab. You still have the opposing couches facing each other, and the executive washroom is the same layout. Adding the second row of chairs also expands the overhead space and you therefore have two more cabinets for storage. The Xalta Tour 6.0 totally removes the sofas and adds a third row of captain’s chairs, for a total seating capacity of 8 guests. You have two end tables behind the third row of seats, each with Corian countertops, and a total of 8 overhead storage compartments.
Exterior
The 2024 Regency Xalta Touring Class B vans series has a very clean, understated look about it. Four available colors: White, Sel/Grey, Ten/Grey, and Black give the Touring series models a cool appearance, coupled with Black Rhino custom wheels and powered running boards. The classic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis is one of the most recognized platforms for luxury RV’s. Both the 144” and the 170” chassis are identically equipped with a large, powered awning, giving you either shade or rain cover when needed, and a built-in wide sensor retracts the canopy automatically if things get a little too gusty. When you open the side sliding door, a powered step extends to help you enter the coach. Your 30-amp shore power connections and City water hookups are cleverly hidden behind custom painted panels, and at the rear of the vehicle is your standard back-up camera and tow hitch. The 3.0-liter diesel engine has 188 horsepower, and you have a tow capacity of up to 5000 pounds. Not having a shower means the Xalta can carry smaller water tanks, helping with your weight and fuel efficiency as well. Both fresh water and waste tanks are 8 gallons. On the roof you have your low-rise 13,500 BTU A/C and your Spark Lithium system solar panels. The Regency Xlata Touring comes standard with the Spark system, utilizing 12-volt batteries, multi watt Sine wave inverter, dual alternator kit, and a 320w solar panel to provide plenty oof power to your coach without needing a generator.
Interior
The interior of the 2024 regency Xalta is indeed a special place to be. When you enter the Xalta, you feel as though you have stepped into a fine limousine, complete with all the luxurious fitments you would expect from a true executive coach. Starting in the driver’s cab, you have the two captain’s chairs, with swivel ability, plus custom floor mats and color matched headliner. Both seats also have tinted windows and privacy shades. Ducking under the TV, and moving back to the passenger compartment, you will notice the simulated wood vinyl flooring throughout the cabin. The coach captain’s chairs are ten-way power adjustable, and have powered footrests as well. The leather is diamond stitched for a true exclusive appearance. Each window has powered MCD shades, for total privacy. Each seat also has USB and 110 volt plugs for personal electronics. All the storage cabinets are custom made with American hardwoods, either maple or cherry wood, and are absolutely beautiful, as are the wood accents around each seating area. Your audio system is ceiling mounted and can be linked to the 32” SmartTV for a theater style presentation, or to individual Bluetooth devices. You also have a built in DVD/CD player, plus the capability of adding satellite feed, or a game system for tons of entertainment options. The couches are stitched in the same pattern as the captain’s chairs and can be laid flat for a good-sized sleeping area if needed. Four interior leather colors are available including White, Black, Grey, and Sand. Your cabinet choices are either the dark cherry or the tan maple look. The lavatory is especially spacious, since there is no need for a shower pan. The porcelain toilets are standard equipment, and the sink area has Corian counter tops, and stainless hardware. Under the sink, in the cabinet is a small refrigerator with enough space for drinks, or some small snack. Back in the passenger area you have an overhead microwave for meal prep, or just warming up the leftovers.
