Floorplans
The 2024 Grech Strada family consists of two models, the Strada and the Strada-Ion models. Both models employ the same Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD 170” extended high-roof chassis, and are, for all intents, the same vehicle, except for the power systems they utilize. The Strada uses an Ultra Quiet Cummins Onan 2.5KW propane powered generator to produce power for your coach when you are off shore power. The generator couples with a 2,000-watt Xantrex inverter and 2 lithium batteries, plus a 300-watt solar system to give you plenty of electricity when you’re out and about. The Strada-ion model places the generator with a Lithionics battery system, the only one tested and approved by UL. This is the most advanced energy storage system available in a Class B motorhome. The Lithionics batteries maintain 1,260 Amp hours, and use an auxiliary 280-amp alternator to charge the batteries while the engine is idling. The inverter jumps to a 3,000-watt Xantrax model, and still couples with the Zamp 300 wat solar system to provide you clean lithium-based energy for extended off-grid times. The Strada models have two different floorplans, the Lounge and the Tour. The Lounge floorplan is designed around the philosophy of “more is better” and maximizes passenger seating capacity. Up front you have the dual captain’s chairs in the cab area, each capable of swiveling around to face the interior of the vehicle when parked. As you step down from the cab floor of the vehicle, there are two more large individual recliner style seats, plus there is a mounting point for a removable standing table. Both of these can swivel and recline for max comfort. As you move to the galley area next, you will see the deep basin sink and countertop, and the two-burner stove top. A convection microwave is located in the lower cabinets, and the refrigerator is next to that. There are a multitude of overhead cabinets around the entire cabin, plus additional storage in the galley. Across from the kitchen is your private wet bathroom. The rounded door opens and you have a large sink area to your left. The porcelain toilet is on your right, and the sink faucet is extendable to double as your shower head. Back outside the bathroom, as you move towards the rear of the unit, you will find two opposing seats on either side of the coach, facing each other. At the back is a three-person foldable sofa. This can be folded flat, along with the two seats, to make a large, king-size sleeping area. This array of seating gives you a full capacity of up to 9 guests in the Lounge floorplan. The Tour model differs in a couple of ways from the Lounge. The two chairs behind the cab area are moved and there is now a large clothing closet and full-size- fridge next to the bathroom. The galley and bathroom area remains the same, as do the two chairs and sofa at the rear. The pedestal table mount is now at the rear of the coach, giving you space for reading, games, etc. You also have a TV mount facing the sofa. In the Tour model, your passenger capacity is reduced to 7, but there is still plenty of room for adventure!
Exterior
The 2024 Grech Strada collection of motorhomes is designed to excite its owner with its sleek exterior, whether cruising the highways or standing still at the campsite. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500XD chassis has always had amazing exterior lines, and the Grech custom fiberglass body kit only enhances that modern look. Three exterior colors are available for the Strada line. The Iridium silver has the classic Mercedes look that’s been a hallmark for decades. The Grey White color has a beautiful alabaster hue to it, and the Tenorite Grey is a dark, smoky look that evokes the image of an approaching storm front. Other chassis features include the 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine, good for plenty of horsepower, but also good fuel efficiency. AS you move down the side of the vehicle, you will notice the powered step that retracts into the body work when not in use. The large, powered awning covers quite a bit of space, and comes with integrated LED lighting, plus wind sensors that will auto-retract it if the wind gets high enough to cause damage. Your exterior Utility Center has connections for your 30 ap shore hookups, cable TV, propane and city water. This is cleverly hidden behind a stainless-steel panel that blends right in to the body work. You have exterior power connections in case you want to plug in a TV, and there’s even an exterior shower to rinse off with after a long day outdoors. On the roof is your Dometic low-profile 13,500 BTU air conditioner, and your extra large 300-watt Solar panel as well. The Timberline Diesel system utilizes the fuel in the vehicle to heat both your water and coach itself, ensuring an instant delivery of heat when needed. The custom air suspension is one of the best in the industry, providing smooth and luxurious ride quality, no matter the road conditions. Other exterior features include rear sensors and backup cameras, plus a 5,000-pound tow hitch, and shiny allow wheels to compete the look.
Interior
The 2024 Grech Strada interior is one of the most luxurious you will find in the RV industry. The Mercedes cab area emphasizes a hands-free approach to many of the driver’s aids, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel. The in-dash Navigation system is top-of-the-line, and you have a plethora of safety aids available to you as well. The flooring of the vehicles is very unique, being a Chilewich woven material, unlike the vinyl flooring of other makes. This woven material adds a distinct feel of luxury and is more durable. The soft touch walls and headliner run throughout the cabin, as does the LED accent lighting installed under the cabinets. Speaking of the cabinets, they are handmade of Swiss Chrono hardwood and have radius opening doors for more space. You’ll notice the quiet throughout the cabin as you drive, thanks to the full fiberglass insulation behind the walls, also giving you remarkable temperature control whether it’s hot or cold outside. At the entry door, you have a neatly concealed screen door that allows air to move throughout the cabin but keeps the bugs out when you are camping. The galley countertops are quartz, and you have the farmhouse-style stainless-steel sinks with matching faucets and fixtures. In the wet bathroom, you have a molded sink with a vanity mirror, a ceramic toilet with foot flush capability, and a handheld shower head. There’s even a retractable clothesline for when you need to hang some clothes up in the sealed bathroom. For entertainment, you have a 24” high-def TV included, plus a Bose soundbar. The TV mounts are pre-wired for satellite and cable, and you have plenty of USB ports throughout the cabin. The rear couch is upholstered in Ultraleather, both soft and durable, plus it has Memory foam for a more comfortable feel. All the coach’s systems are controlled by your Firefly Integration Panel. The touch screen system can handle all your plumbing and electrical systems, even your lighting and awning system too.
