The 2024 Grand Design Imagine AIM is an all-new venture into the travel trailer market. The Imagine AIM or "Adventure in Motion" was made to target campers seeking lightweight towing capabilities at a lower price point with all the great features Grand Design is known for. The starting weight for each of the four floor designs in this special collection is less than 4,000 lbs. Due to their exceptionally low weights, the AIM series can draw a much wider variety of vehicles than most others, enabling many more families to travel and enjoy RVing. With AIM, Grand Design does not skimp on any features; this includes domestic modern cabinets, a walk-in shower with a skylight, a double-door refrigerator, and more! Floorplans
The 2024 Grand Design Imagine AIM's six unique floor plans are perfect for campers that want to not only enjoy the great outdoors but also the comforts of residential living. The 14MS starts the model lineup with a slide-mounted Murphy bed/couch combo and large storage drawers. At the back is a sliding door leading to the full bath, and at the front is a complete kitchen and serving bar. The 15BH and the 15RB both provide plenty of room for adventures. The 15BH offers a bunkhouse and a smaller bathroom in the rear. Walking in you will see the kitchen and booth dinette to your right, and the bunk house and bathroom to your left. The 15RB utilizes the rear of the camper for a larger restroom with a linen closet and an abundance of floorspace. As you enter the camper, you will see the queen-sized Murphy bed to the right in the front cap of the trailer, along with multiple storage cabinets around the bed. To the left, you will find your kitchen and dining area, which then lead into the restroom. Both of these units are 19'11" in length and utilize all of the available space. The 16BL has a unique setup, with twin bunks in the front cap and a Murphy bed/couch combo mounted on the slide-out for sleeping up to 4. The kirchen counter wraps around the opposite side, and there is a standup shower in the full bath. The 16ML and 18BH both have an unloaded weight under 4,000 lbs; however, the 16ML is a little bit longer at 20' and the 18BH is a little bit longer at 21'11". The 16ML has a configuration similar to the 15RB, but with a little more room, a slide-out third tri-fold sofa for more sleeping space, and a 60 x 80-inch queen bed in place of the front-cap Murphy bed. For a larger kitchen room, the 18BH makes use of its pull-out for the cooktop and refrigerator. A distinctive bar-style table-top dinette replaces the conventional dinner table in this apartment. Your queen-size Murphy bed is to the right in the front cap of the RV when you enter the 18BH. Your bar-top dinette is to the left, and a sizable kitchen extends into the space with the bunk beds and the bathroom. One of the various floor plans that this model line offers is sure to win your heart!
Exterior
The 2024 Grand Design Imagine AIM has many features on the outside of the camper that are just as exciting as the inside! Starting at the front, you have your electric tongue jack with two 20-pound propane tanks. On the camping side of the camper, you will have a slide-out cook griddle with a propane quick connect so you can use your favorite grills. Above, you have your awning that will come out at 14 feet. The Imagine AIM's construction uses Azdel which is about half the weight of wood at the same thickness, which helps bring down the weight of this trailer. Azdel is fantastic because it has outstanding thermal insulation and is resistant to mold, mildew, rotting, and warping. Insulation on the main floor is R-30, R-7 on the walls, and R-40 on the roof. You can use the spray port at the back of the camper to bathe your pets or clean off your muddy boots. You can also see in the back that every trailer has a 150-pound hitch and is prepared for backup cameras. The 15BH will include a sizable rear baggage door that is also accessible from the camper's left side. You will have access to a black tank flush on the camper's business side to clean out your tanks and replenish them with fresh water. On this side of the camper, you will also discover your universal docking station.
Interior
The 2024 Grand Design Imagine AIM series features an interior designed to feel more comfortable and spacious while also being functional. Grand Design used every inch of the travel trailer to make you feel at home. A 78-inch interior ceiling gives even taller people enough head room to freely move around the camper. Large panoramic windows around the camper allow you to appreciate nature while enjoying the creature comforts of your RV. Grand Design took great care to include amenities including high-end equipment, a television, plush furniture, and comfortable beds. Grand Design designs their trailers with high-quality components, unlike most other manufacturers, even down to the cabinetry, which uses solid drawer fronts, solid core cabinet stiles, and ball-bearing full extension glides. Every unit includes a convection microwave and a two-burner stove. Additionally, both feature enough countertop space for a coffee maker or a crockpot, as well as for meal preparation.
